John left for his Spring trip to
Ukraine on April 18, 2005. He was met in Amsterdam by Larry Jackson
and Larry Baker, both from the Great Oaks congregation in Memphis,
Tennessee. As soon as John landed in Ukraine, he began numerous
meeting with Ukrainian officials and local church members. After
concluding his meetings in the nation’s capital, John flew to
Donetsk where he will base his mission efforts in the surrounding
areas.
John preached and taught the Bible
in the areas he has previously worked and worked with the church in
Krasni Luc -- which is supported by the North Jackson church of
Christ (Jackson, TN). Larry Jackson and Larry Baker worked with the
congregations in Krasnoarmeisk and Mezhevaya.
